This wedding wasn't only a special evening for our couple, but it also was a reunion for some of our past couples! It all happened at Circle S Farms. It all started with Brad Ford two years ago. Now, we have had the pleasure of providing our entertainment services to this great group of friends! Snyder Entertainment has had the privilege of being a special part of some many important and memorable moments with this group. Blair and Drew's wedding night was definitely one to remember!
Love Isn't The Only Thing That Makes The World Go 'Round...
Last week was one of terrible tragedy and sadness felt all across the world. The attack of nine innocent people in South Carolina left us all reeling and in disbelief that someone could have that much evil in his heart and to display it inside a holy place. There is never a reason to justify those actions; just like there's not a justifiable reason to hold that much hate and anger in your heart. The team at Snyder Entertainment has the families and community in our prayers. Whether we are black, white, purple, or yellow, LOVE can unify all of us. What's an easy and universal way to spread love? Music.
Nashville DJ Diaries | Mint Spring's Farm's Beauty and The Beast
On May 31st 2015, Brad Ford had the honor of being the DJ and MC for Kayla D'Aguillo and Spencer Green's wedding. They got married at the beautiful Mint Springs Farm in Nolensville, Tennessee. Now I know we have done a lot of weddings at this venue and have had many of them featured in our DJ diaries. But the great thing about Mint Springs Farm is that they encourage couples to be different. To think outside the box to make the day their own. This was certainly the case with Kayla and Spencer! Kayla's bottom line with me was that she wanted a party. She wanted to dance and celebrate and have her guests walking away talking about how good of a time they had.
Nashville Zoo Real Wedding | Featured on Borrowed and Blue!
It's Thursday! And while we are prepping for a busy wedding weekend, we love to reminisce on past weddings! Brianna and Brandon's Nashville wedding has an extra hint of uniqueness being that it took place at the Nashville Zoo! Not only was this one of our favorite weddings of 2014, but it also was featured on Borrowed and Blue this Spring! Frozen Exposure Photography was kind enough to share the lovely images from the day!

This weekend was filled with guest DJ's, storm chasing, and a bride dropping it low on the dance floor! You know you want to read more!
DJ Myths Uncovered! | Nashville Entertainment Defying The Odds!
I'm going to be honest; I used to thank some DJ's were extremely cheesy. This stigma came from witnessing some horrific DJ experiences at Nashville weddings and other corporate events. Whether it was the DJ screaming how to do the "Cha Cha Slide" (yes, he was yelling the instructions when the song clearly states them), or the DJ making very inappropriate jokes regarding the garter toss, I've come to realize that not every DJ is THAT DJ. It is a stigma that has cast a dark shadow on DJ's across America. Luckily, there's entertainment companies like Snyder Entertainment to defy all the odds and bring back the Art Of Being A Classy Entertainer. Check out these DJ Myths debunked by the Snyder Entertainment team.
Nashville DJ Diaries | A Southern Family Affair!
Emily and Adam could have had a huge wedding at an expensive barn, but they opted for a smaller, more intimate affair at Emily's uncle's farm in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Brad Ford walked Emily through the planning process while she was completing her last semester at Belmont University. While many would buckle under wedding planning and graduation stress, Emily kept her cool to plan a huge Southern celebration for her and Adam's wedding!

1. Tell us a little about the couple and their wishes for their wedding: Adam and Emily were the nicest most laid back couple I've worked with in a while. Emily just graduated from Belmont University so we connected immediately as that was my alma mater. She wanted her reception to be a party and she took the time to pick songs that touched on each generation of guest that was in attendance. Despite being overwhelmed with finals and wedding plans Emily never seemed to get stressed when I would work with her on music. It was a pleasure being a part of this process and this will be an event I will remember for a long long time.
2. Was there anything special or unique about the day? Special moments among family members? Couple? Friends? Where do I begin? First of all the reception was held on her uncle's farm in Shelbyville, Tennessee and it was one of the most beautiful properties I have ever been to. They have a beautiful home, lake, horse pastures and barn. Absolutely breathtaking. That by itself would be enough. But the family was very nice and gracious so we felt at home the whole day. The ceremony was smaller and at a different location but while the wedding party were taking their pictures the videography team set up a screen and had a viewing of the actual ceremony at the reception to pass the time. I thought this was a nice touch.
3. What were some of the couples music selections? All I can say is they had fantastic music choices. We did a fantastic wedding party introduction to Now That We Found Love and then had a great first dance moment with Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran. I hadn't done a Anniversary Dance in a while so it so great to do that again. She chose Talking Out Loud for that and man that's the perfect song for a Anniversary Dance. Emily trusted us to pick a lot of the music but we had some very specific conversation about vibe and overall expectations. However, the songs she specifically picked were awesome and a little outside the box. We threw back a little to Lakeside Fantastic Voyage, No Parking on the Dance Floor by Midnight Starr, She's a Bad Mama Jama by Carl Carlton...and the list goes on. She even had a deep cut in there by The Gap Band that I didn't even have in my catalog which shocked me! Outside of the classics we focused on 90's party classics which were all hits. For more current selections I think the big hits were Shut Up and Dance by Walk The Moon and Want to Want Me by Jason Derulo. Of course we wobbled, shuffled and did a Slide or two to round everything off. They were big Volunteer fans so we have a whole UT exit planned. Our last song was Turn Down for What which if you've ever been to a UT game you are familiar with the whole "Third down for What" thing. Then the guests lined up a path to the getaway car with UT pom poms and we blasted Rocky Top as they ran through the lines and into their car. It was a nice exit.
4. Were there any dance floor highlights? Yes! The whole night was a highlight. Adam and Emily's family and friends stayed on the dance floor the whole night. And not just the friends but moms, dads, aunts and uncles. It was a true celebration!
5. Names of any vendors at the wedding: Amanda Davis was the photographer and she's fantastic! Video services were supplied by Tower Video out of St. Louis. Southern Events did a great job with rentals. Honestly have some of the best farm style tables in town. And all this was made possible by the talents at Regalo Design who did all the wedding planning and day of coordination, not to mention beautiful floral arrangements.
