Nashville DJ Diaires | A Mid-Summer's March Wedding RECAP

They say there's no better time than the present, and in this instance, we have to completely agree! Just this past week we received an email from some of our favorite local photographers, Frozen Exposure, regarding a wedding that we were a part of in March. When I started looking through the photos, I knew immediately that I had to feature this beyond beautiful wedding on our blog for so many reasons. All of those reasons are featured in the gallery below, and keep scrolling to read about all of the Snyder Entertainment provided DJ + Emcee details of Jacqueline + Chris's day!

Saturday | 03.04.2017 | Houston Station

DJ, Emcee | Brad Ford

Planner, Samantha Cocks from Houston Station | Decor + Lighting, Southern Sky | Florist, Elaine McCord | DJ + Emcee, Snyder Entertainment | Photography + Videography, Frozen Exposure  | Catering, Clean Plate Club

This was an honestly fun night! The evening started with a gorgeous ceremony, and with a quick flip of the room by the talented staff at Houston Station, it was time for dinner. The details of this wedding were everywhere. From the lighting, to the table decor, the floral arrangements, the succulents and geometric shapes added a modern flair, and then there were the chandeliers. The chandeliers, made by our talented friends at Southern Sky, were incredible to say the absolute least. So unique and gorgeous! The other part of this wedding that really stood out was Jacqueline’s dress. We see wedding dresses every weekend but there was just something unique about this one and the way she wore it; simple yet stunning!

After dinner and toasts, it was time for their first dance as Husband + Wife. Brad really enjoyed the first dance which was to "The Way You Look Tonight" by Frank Sinatra. It's always great to have a first dance be to a throwback song. We played a variety but the main focus of the music was on 90’s hip hop, today’s top 40 and current hip hop. This group stayed together on the dance floor no matter what was playing, and that in itself was a testament to their friendship and family. Jacqueline and Chris wanted to end their reception a little differently than most weddings. Instead of building up to a BIG last dance song, we stopped the build and brought it back down to end on a slower note. First we played Al Green “Let’s Stay Together” into “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks, and then played “One Love” by Bob Marley as the last song of the night. It was a refreshing way to end a crazy dance party, and a wonderful night for our team. We are so happy that we were able to be a part of their special day, and that we were able to partner with wonderful vendors as well. We wish Jacqueline + Chris a lifetime of love.. Cheers!
