2020 gave us so few opportunities to showcase all of the things we can bring to one event. Understandably, a large part of our year was spent staying apart (and safe). We still had events on our calendars, more of them being virtual than ever. But the big, go-all-out experiences (like THIS ONE from 2019) took a backseat.
However, we ended the year on a true high note. We had a blast being part of the Amazon Holiday Highway Drive-by Event. This socially-distanced, festive event was hosted to celebrate the delivery drivers. The holiday season (or any moment of this pandemic) wouldn’t be possible without them, so this celebration was well-deserved!
We were honored to bring several services to this great event. Read-on to see all of the Amazon fun!
Services
The premise of the Holiday Highway was that delivery drivers, and their families, would drive through the event space, and observe the different attractions from their cars. All performers were masked, and positioned at least 6 feet away from the cars. To make this event a success, a wide range of performers and entertainment was needed. If the audience has to stay in the cars, small-scale would not have provided the effect we wanted this event to have! So, large-scale entertainment was the key. Snyder Entertainment provided:

Looking ahead to 2021
This event taught us something huge. Large-scale events can still be possible, even in the era we’re in. We instantly made the pivot to virtual events last year, but the in-person but well-distanced events can still happen! There’s no limit to what can be done if you’re willing to think outside of the box. As we head towards the Spring, and warmer weather, the opportunities to host outdoor, socially-distanced events will be more abundant!
