Nashville DJ Diaires | Romantic + Rustic Union

Highlights from three beautiful weddings that closed out our month of August. Among all of the corporate events that we were a part of, these added some much needed romance with touches of rustic farm venues, beautiful decor, greenery and summer floral, and a lot of love..

Saturday | 8.20.16|  Mint Springs Farm

Another beautiful wedding at Mint Springs Farm! A gorgeous Bride, a handsome Groom and nothing but love between them. A sweet ceremony followed by an indoor cocktail hour, into their reception. The dance floor was packed all night and we had so much fun at this wedding! Congratulations again, Devin and Justine.. We wish you a lifetime of love!

Highlights:

This was a great wedding from the absolute beginning stages of planning. The groom, Aaron Goodvin is a Country artist from Alberta, Canada. He writes for Warner Chappell Music with cuts on Luke Bryan, Jon Pardi, Scotty McCreery albums, just to name a few. The Bride, Victoria, is also entrenched in the music business and has a career in Music Publishing. If you haven't heard Aaron Goodvin's new song, “Women in Love” then go buy it on iTunes now! Fitting that this was his wedding, his label shot their wedding for his official music video of this song. When you are a country artist and you have a song about getting married it's only natural to film your music video at your own wedding! We can't wait to see the finished product and celebrate forever for the two of them. Aaron's side of the family all came down from Canada to celebrate their wedding. It's a good thing that Aaron is in the country music industry because this group seriously loved country music! They leaned heavily towards 90's country which is our favorite as well. For the ceremony we used "Tenerife Sea" by Ed Sheeran for the processional. Victoria walked down the aisle to original instrumental version of "Moon River" which Brad thought was stellar and classy all in one. Other ceremony music that set the tone for the evening was "You Make My Dreams Come True" by Hall N Oates for the Recessional. The country music game was strong for the special dances; we introduced the Wedding Party to "True" by George Strait, the First Dance was "When Somebody Loves You" by Alan Jackson, the Father Daughter was "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw and the Mother Son was "Humble and Kind" also by Tim McGraw. Brad continued the parents dances by inviting Aaron's Dad and Victoria's Mom to the dance floor to make sure all of the parents got to have special moment, using "Livin' On Love" by Alan Jackson for this. The dance floor opened with a mixture of Top 40, Motown, 90's pop and 90's country. Aaron and Victoria's playlist consisted of Terry Clark's "Better Things To Do", "Watermelon Crawl" by Tracy Byrd, "Sweet Caroline" by John Michael Montgomery, the country hit "Grundy County Auction," and John Pardi's recent chart topper "Head Over Boots." Autumn Crest Farm was a beautiful house on a sprawling farm just south of downtown Franklin. Even though this wedding had a lot of music business attached to it, never once did it feel like a "industry" event. Even when John Pardi showed up later in the evening to get a dance in with Victoria! This wedding felt like family the whole way through, it was planned wonderfully by Regalo, and the guests were so much fun. This will be one to always remember.. Congratulations again, Aaron and Victoria!
