{DJ Diaries} Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee's Stars for Wishes 2015

Some of the most rewarding moments come from our opportunities to be the entertainment for  nonprofit events. This weekend we were honored to be a special part of Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee's Stars for Wishes Late Party event. Bo Jennings from Cumberland Hospitality Group was putting the late party together, and he happens to be one of our biggest fans for DJ services. He came to us for this event because he wanted to go above and beyond with this year's Late Party. We were up for the challenge!

Because our team sees their fair share of excitement each weekend, we’ve decided to start a blog series, DJ Diaries. Matt, J Clark, Brad, and Brian emcee several weddings each weekend and have some great moments that really made the night memorable.  We’re so excited that Molly and Matt’s Mint Springs Farm wedding is out first entry for DJ Diaries!

Wedding Reception Regrets

Wedding Reception Regrets

The summer days are getting hot and that means fall is just around the corner. For me, it always makes me think of my wedding anniversary. Ashley and myself were married on October 4th, 2003 and in so many ways…it really does seem like yesterday. Without any doubt or any hesitation, it was one of the greatest days of my life. I laughed and I smiled all day. However, it would be a lie to say I had no wedding day regrets. Maybe these regrets are biased from what I do for a living (entertainment business), but I can tell you these are similar conversations we have been sharing with clients over the last 6 months and I wanted to share the Top 5 Wedding Regrets shared from our clients.

5 Bridal Show Survival Tips

5 Bridal Show Survival Tips

This Sunday is the Nashville Perfect Wedding Guide (#NashPWGShow) show taking place at The Music City Center. The PWG shows started in 2011 and have quickly became the “must attend” show in the Nashville market. The winter shows have over 1,000 brides coming through the door. As a vendor I personally find these shows a tad overwhelming. If I find them overwhelming and I am in the business and already married….I KNOW YOU as a bride must feel overwhelmed. The summer shows offer a more intimate experience to connect with the vendors and we will try to alleviate some of the headaches by offering you 5 Bridal Show Survival Tips. Lace up your heels and get ready for action, we plan on getting you through this weekend like a hero!

5 Reasons You Should Have A Photo Booth At Your Next Event

5 Reasons You Should Have A Photo Booth At Your Next Event

2009 was our first year in the Photo Booth business and what an amazing journey we have been on since that time. In 2009 we had around 10 photo booths for the entire year. To put that in perspective, in 2013 we had well over 100 booth rentals. I share those numbers to illustrate simply how popular the photo booth has become in the last 5 years. As a Nashville DJ company that focuses on entertainment in general…the photo booth has been the most exciting and most explosive growth in our business. I wanted to share our experiences and give you The Top 5 Reasons You Need A Photo Booth At Your Next Event

The Wedding Reception Is Really Not That Big Of A Deal, Right?

The Wedding Reception Is Really Not That Big Of A Deal, Right?

Have you ever thought about your reception as NOT being a big deal? You were excited about the engagement, you were excited about the planning and you were excited ultimately about getting MARRIED! This blog post is a reminder about the celebration of marriage and some additional things to put on your preparation list. It might just give some ease in planning your reception, after all, it’s not that big of a deal compared to marriage. This week we have a guest blogger Stu Gray. Stu married his wife Lisa in a castle just outside New Orleans, Louisiana 11 years ago (You’ll never guess who their wedding officiant was!). Now they encourage married couples with a podcast and blog at Stupendous Marriage

DJ & a Band? Best of Both Worlds

DJ & a Band? Best of Both Worlds

When we started making plans for 2014 and how we could offer our clients the most extensive offerings for entertainment options; we knew that live music was a high priority. In the recent years we had partnered with some high level talent and wanted to be able to bring that into the Snyder Entertainment umbrella. First and foremost we wanted to ensure talent was top notch, presentation was second to none and we could offer these services exclusively. It brings a smile to my face to let you know that we now can offer options for you when you are leaning towards live entertainment.
