Capitol Theatre Main Auditorium
One thing I personally love about working in the event industry is checking out all of the incredibly cool venue places in and around town. Many times we get a chance to see the “guts” of a venue and you really see all of the planning that went into these buildings. Sometimes it is the craftsmanship, sometimes it is the decor…other times it is just simply the magic of the building. As a person who really enjoys watching movies and appreciates the history of Hollywood along with its impact on our society, I was so excited to be a part of a vendor showcase recently taking place at The Capitol Theatre in Lebanon, Tn.
Brad Ford on our team had recently struck up a relationship with the good people at Capitol and after some conversations, dinner and a Titans game we had the good fortune of providing sound and lighting for a vendor showcase being hosted at the theatre by Two Fat Men Catering. This recently renovated event space provides so many unique options for you that it is hard to find a good place to start. You can obviously customize the marquee outside and that is just the beginning. The concessions area can be your full service bar, the decor plays up to that classy Hollywood look, the floors and ceilings have been fully restored to all of their glory.
While awaiting the showcase to begin, we put our heads together and said if we enjoy seeing venues so much…surely our clients would enjoy the opportunity to get a look at a new venue. Brad will give you a quick walk through from the outside to the upstairs attic, the main auditorium and even highlight some of our setup for the evening.
