We have shared multiple posts over the past few months about booking, song selection, and packages that we offer. But, once everything is decided upon, how does your big day actually operate? Today, we want to share with you five key expectations that you should hold for your DJ on the day of your event!
1) Preparation. Our team should always arrive at your event completely prepared in regards to all of our contracted responsibilities and services. This means working with other vendors ahead of time for the timeline, playlist prep, pronunciation of names, etc. Any team member assigned to your event will arrive with a knowledge of No. Matter. What.
2) Punctuality. Our team will show up at least one-two hours prior to your scheduled start time, unless requested to arrive any earlier. This gives us more than enough time to set up our equipment, run a few sound checks, and take care of any other loose ends before your event even begins!
3) Professional Dress. Your DJ, and any other team members present at your event, should all be dressed in business casual attire. If you prefer your DJ to arrive in jeans, that’s great! But unless otherwise specified, our team members will be dressed to impress.
4) Equipment Know-How. Our team members will arrive ready to set up your lighting, your photo booth, your sound equipment, or any other items that need to be set up before your reception start time. All training occurs prior to the day of the event, so you will never have a technician arrive onsite fumbling with your monogram light or other equipment.
5) Polished Set Up. Taped and hidden wires, a clean booth, and a sleek set up are all critical to ensuring that we enhance your event space, rather than distracting from it. You will always be pleased with how compact and professional our set up is!
